Next, let's look at our textbook. Please look at the image below. We will be using a text book called Fiction in Action: Whodunit.
One of the authors of Whodunit is my friend Marcos Benevides. You can see Marcos in the picture below. Mr. Benevides is the man on the left holding the trophy. The other author is Adam Gray. Mr. Gray is standing in the middle next to the Duke of Edinburgh (フィリップ [エディンバラ公]). The man on the right is my friend Alistair Graham-Marr. He is one of the publishers of our textbook. Our textbook won the HRH The Duke of Edinburgh ESU English Language Book Award for 2010!
There are two detective stories in Whodunit. This semester, we will read the first one, called The Inverted Eagle.
