応用英語1-2A Reading Chapter 6 Review

Hello everyone!
Today we are going to review Chapter 6. First, let's study some vocabulary. Please click this link: Inverted Eagle Chapter 6 vocabulary.  After that, review your detective's notebook. Add new words from chapter 6

Now let's look at our suspects mindmap. I have added the final suspect, Nancy Reed. Click the image below to make it bigger. Nancy Reed is now red. Her lies and motives are in large bold letters. Add the information to your detective's notebook.

The Suspect #3

Now let's review Martina R's summary of The Inverted Eagle on Kalingo English. Now write your final report in your detective's notebook.
Next week I'll give you a study guide for the final exam.
Finally, please write a message to the authors of your textbook, Marcos Benevides and Adam Gray. Tell them what you thought of the textbook. Post your message as a comment below.

    Dear Mr.Gray and Mr.Benevides,
Thank you so much for writing our text book. I think The Inverted Eagle is very interesting, after I finished a chapter I want to read next chapter. I want to know what will happened, new evidence, situation,... I'm really poor at guess who is suspect. Hehe... I tried to guess 2 or 3 times, but I was wrong.

I really like your style writing so much.especially, I can know the new words that show about action and feeling of characters.

    Mr. Stout's class,

This is Adam, one of the authors. I am very pleased to read all of your comments. It sounds like the book was a little difficult for some of you, but Mr. Stout assures me that you did a good job. Remember, to become independent readers of English you must challenge yourselves with longer works, and works that are more difficult than you might usually try. Hang in there! I hope you feel like you have learned a lot.

    Adam

  13. Hi everyone,

Thank you for your comments. It sounds like this story was a little bit difficult for many of you. However, please do try to read the second story. Maybe you will notice that the second time is much easier, since now you already know many of the characters and situations.

Also, it looks like Michael is doing a good job making vocabulary lists, mind maps, etc. for you. I'm sure that he is a very helpful teacher!

    Best regards,
    Marcos
