The University of Tsukuba IE Phys. Ed B3 Trimester 3 Wk 7
Hello everyone,
My very first sport was judo. I started studying judo at a sports and recreation centre, which was organised by the YMCA. My sensei was Mr. Johnston. Later I joined Johnston-sensei's dojo. I was also a member of the Ontario Judo Association. I practiced jodo until I had a bad fall and chipped my teeth. I wish I'd continued.
Before we begin our lesson today, let's study some vocabulary. Please click the link:
IE - PhysEd B3 Vocabulary
Since I was a judoka once, I was very interested in the recent news about Ryuji Sonoda.
Today we are going to read an article about Ryuji Sonoda from breakingnewsenglish.com. Click the link to download the lesson.
What do you think about Ryuji Sonoda? Was he a bad coach? Do you think he should have been fired? Please post a comment.
